My new poetry collection, These Mothers of Gods, is now available to buy! The book pushes towards a more expansive understanding of ‘motherhood’, inclusive of broader urgent issues about gender and our collective responsibilities for lives, environments and natural worlds.
I’ll be reading from the new book at various events over Summer, including this online reading with Hannah Hodgson and Maggie Mackay for Finding the Words, York Explore on Thursday (22 July). Book your place now!
There have been some lovely reviews, including a careful, thoughtful piece by the brilliant Yvette Huddlestone in the Yorkshire Post. I also did an interview for the MumWrite blog if you’re interested in finding out more about the collection. Although I hate self-promotion, a lot of hard work has gone into this book, including by Isabelle Kenyon, my excellent editor at Fly on the Wall Press. My heartfelt thanks go to everyone involved in bringing this book into being.
