New Collection: Available Now

“A stunning collection – moving, uplifting and timely.” Yvette Huddleston, Yorkshire Post

My new poetry collection, These Mothers of Gods, is now available to buy! The book pushes towards a more expansive understanding of ‘motherhood’, inclusive of broader urgent issues about gender and our collective responsibilities for lives, environments and natural worlds.

I’ll be reading from the new book at various events over Summer, including this online reading with Hannah Hodgson and Maggie Mackay for Finding the Words, York Explore on Thursday (22 July). Book your place now!

There have been some lovely reviews already, including a thoughtful piece by Yvette Huddleston in the Yorkshire Post. My interview with the MumWrite blog is also available now if you’d like to know more about the collection. Although I hate self-promotion, a lot of hard work has gone into this book, including by Isabelle Kenyon, my excellent editor at Fly on the Wall Press. My heartfelt thanks go to everyone involved in bringing this book into being.

It’s not an easy time to sell books, so please do consider supporting independent presses, and buying a copy of the book (or any of the other brilliant titles published by Fly on the Wall!
