The book is out on 16 July and all pre-orders come with a free e-book. The book seeks to recover the lived experiences of women who have often appeared only fleetingly in official histories, and also pushes towards a more expansive understanding of ‘motherhood’, inclusive of broader urgent issues about gender and our collective responsibilities for lives, environments and natural worlds.
I’ll be reading from the book at lots of events this summer, including Fly on the Wall’s Summer Festival which is on 3 July, 11am – 7pm. You can join the festival any time, pay as you feel, but you need to book a ticket. There are is an ace line up of readings, workshops and performances, so get your tickets now! Find out more and book via Eventbrite.
