A3 Review & ‘Hope’

‘”Hope” is the thing with feathers –

That perches in the soul…’ (Emily Dickinson)

I am delighted that I will be the Guest Editor of the A3 Review for the next few months. The magazine that behaves like a map!

We are now open for submissions on the theme of #Hope.

Dangerous hope, the audacity of hope, glimmers of hope. Hopes and dreams. Send us stories, poems, mini-essays, artwork and comics. We’re looking for work that is intense and lyrical, that tackles hopelessness with craft, and makes art out of hope.

Write about lost (or found) hope. Write about light in the darkness, about everyday encounters with neighbours, people, animals, and nature, about living with (or without) hope, about hoping for the best.

We welcome short stories, flash fiction, poetry, comics, graphic stories, a snippet of memoir, photographs, illustrations, and any combination of the above. The only restriction is a word-limit of 150 and images should fit well into an A6 postcard-sized panel. We look forward to receiving your work!
